Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located at 36-19 Ditmars Blvd., in Astoria, Queens, right between New Image salon and Martha's Country Bakery, both of which we highly recommend. Click on the map below for Google Maps and directions.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: We are open seven days a week,Sunday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday evenings we are open until 9:00 p.m. (A few times a month, during store events we may be open later, usually until about 10:00 p.m. Check out our events page to find out when.)
Q: How will my order be shipped?
A: Orders will be shipped within 48 hours of credit card verification. Items will be shipped via UPS Ground with no Saturday or Sunday deliveries. You will receive an e-mail notification once your order has been shipped. Please note that we only offer domestic shipping within the United States.
Q: What is your in-store return policy?
A: Your satisfaction is our top priority! If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we gladly offer exchanges or store credit within 30 days of sales date with original or gift receipt. The product most be unworn and in the original un-damaged packaging and tags. Please note that all clearance items are final sales.
Q: Can I return my online purchase?
The Brass Owl accepts returns from online purchases that are in unworn, perfect condition with all tags attached within ten (10) days of receipt. Please note, shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
For returns, please follow these instructions:
1. Please email [email protected] with your order information, and indicate if you would prefer to receive a refund or exchange. Please note, without contacting us first, we will not be able to process your return.
2. Repackage your merchandise along with original receipt. Shoeboxes must be shipped in proper shipping box. No shipping tape or shipping labels are to be placed on shoeboxes.

A: The Brass Owl does not share any of the personal information of its customers with any third parties for their advertising, promotional, or any other purpose. Your name, e-mail, address, and credit card information are safe with us! Please note that, should we be required to disclose any personal information to the government, law enforcement agencies, service providers, or other third parties under a formal inquiry involving a court order, subpoena, or judicial proceeding, we shall, at our sole and absolute discretion, assist as required and appropriate under the law. At this time we have never received a request of this nature.
